Bitpay now supports Shiba Inu (SHIB)
The crypto payment service provider Bitpay announced on Thursday that it is now supporting the meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB).

With Shiba Inu, Bitpay now supports 13 cryptocurrencies, including XRP. Newegg announces SHIB is now accepted for payments, with AMC theaters to follow
Two major retailers have prepared to accept Shiba Inu through Bitpay: Newegg and AMC Theaters.

However, the retail giant Newegg is not waiting. Shortly after Bitpay’s SHIB announcement, Newegg tweeted that its platform is now accepting SHIB for payments. Newegg can quickly accept Shiba Inu as it already uses Bitpay to process payments in cryptocurrency.
Regarding AMC Theaters, CEO Adam Aron previously said his company is expected to accept SHIB in the first quarter of next year.
Petition for the Robinhood trading platform to list SHIB now has over 545,000 supporters
A petition has been received on Change.org to list the Shiba Inu coin on the popular Robinhood trading platform 545,661 signatures at the time of writing.
There are rumors that Robinhood is considering IPOing SHIB. The platform made no announcement about Shiba Inu, however, and the company’s chief operating officer said in November that the platform is in no hurry to add another crypto. “Our strategy is a bit different from a lot of other players out there who have as many assets on their list as possible,” she said.
Meanwhile, more major cryptocurrency exchanges are listing Shiba Inu. Bitstamp listed SHIB Wednesday. Kraken and Gemini added support for SHIB in November. Additionally, a crypto-friendly travel website, Travala, is accepting Shiba Inu for payments this week.
